Additional Blog Question

Question: What interested you most in the first week? What will you remember later? Answer: The water filtration process interested me most because I began to understand how difficult t is to find or have clean water, and it opened my eyes to all the people in the world that are not fortunate enoguh to have drinkable water. This experiment also interested me because I did not think it would be possible to completely purify the foul water, but after the charcoal adsorption step I started to believe that the water is actually clean. After the distillation process, I was amazed at the different between the starting point and the result. This was a fun, yet educational experiment that made me want to cut down on the amount of water I consume or use, and cherish the purified water that is always available to us. I will always remember not only the steps in the water filtration experiment, but also the safety rules that we had to follow during the experiment. I know that these rules are extremely important, and could be dangerous if broken.
